- Jesse Hagan (Alachua County marriage records show a Jesse Hagan married a Ann Jane Swindle on June 23, 1853.)
- Benjamin Rollins was a son of Robert Rollins b. 1795-97, S.C. or Fla. and Jane Sparkman b. 1800-10, m. 6 oct 1824, Duval Co. Robert served in 2nd Fla. Cav. Co. K. C.S.A. at an old age, and was captured and exchanged. Robert was the son of Thomas Rollins and Susanna b. 1775 in Ga. She md. 2nd Redding Blount b. 1755 N.C. d.1813 Samples Creek, Duval, Fla.and had more children. Thomas and Susanna had 1st Benjamin b. 1794.S.C.
Susanna was convicted of murdering Redden Blount on 29 Aug 1816. She was sentenced to 5 years in the “La Casa del Rocojida” “the house of the recluse” in Havana. Her son Benjamin was found innocent of “witnessing the crime.” She returned and in 10 Jul 1821 claimed Redden’s land and sold it to her son Robert. Source; Prosecution of James Gray (Reddens son-in-law), Susanna Rowland (his wife, but a slave testifies at the trial that she was not a widow when she married Redden as she professed. He had recently seen her husband alive and living up north with the Indians.
