              The following information is taken from the official
Confederate service record of Atlas J. (A. J.) Reeves, a private in
Cos. E (unclear) and K, 32 Tennessee Infantry, in the Tennessee State
Archives on National Archives Microcopy No. 268, roll No. 252:

               The records show that A. J. Reeves, enlisted on
December 16,1862, at McMinnville by Col. Wright.
         
                The company muster roll for January and February 1863
has the following remark; "Detailed to Gen. Bragg , Headquarters Feb.
4, 1863."
            
                His name appears on several receipt rolls for
clothing, and his signature appears on a pay voucher, dated March 19,
1863.
