New Jersey Mailing Lists

Mailing list have been on the Web for many years, I have found them to be useful in many ways. I use them to post new New York Pages, look for an ancestor, and ask questions about the State or County I am researching. You can also read the archives which most go back many years. Roots-L the first and largest genealogy list and Gen-Newbie for those just getting started on their research.

How to Join

The best part is they are FREE to join. Each list has an as posted and digest list, sometimes you will decide you want the digest so you get messages once a week. Click on the links below, they provide very clear instructions for joining, for other questions they provide a link to the administrator. (Don't ask them to sign you up, Subscribing and Unsubscribing is your job.) Each list has a link to that lists Archives to Search or Browse.
