A Progressive Republican, he was a nominee for Alabama's attorney general and attended several national conventions. He was married to Helen Mortimer in 1903 and was involved in organizations like the Odd Fellows and Knights of Pythias. He resides in Prattville. - [Robert Brodnax](https://ahgp.org/al/robert-brodnax.html): Robert Brodnax was a prominent planter born in the late 18th century who moved to Autauga County from Georgia.
