Benjamin Lanier Wolfe, 87, of Baxley, died Staurday at the Appling General Hospital after a short illness.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Verdie O. Wolfe of Baxley; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Eason and Mrs. Jeanette Beckworth, both of Baxley and Mrs. Linda Gail Murray of Blackshear; three sons, Robert Wolfe of Delvan, Wis., Benjamin Wolfe of Twin Lakes, Wis., and Larry Wolfe of Lake Geneva, Wis.; a sister Mrs. Effie Gibson of Jacksonville, Fla.; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. at the Church of God of Prophecy in Baxley with burial in the Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery in Baxley.
